@govballnyc: #tbt will have a whole new meaning come tomorrow...
Any thoughts? If it is a 3rd headliner announcement, would it be an older band or a band that has played at the ball before?
Older Bands: Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, My Bloody Valentine, ((Daft Punk))
Former Ball Bands: Empire of the Sun, Kid Cudi, DMB (played at Randals couple years ago)

so 'tbt' stands for either Truth Be Told or Throw Back Thursday. Tomorrow is Thursday if they announce it tomorrow. It will be a band that performed at the past Governors Ball. Passion Pit? Kid Cudi? Beck?

I am hoping TBT means a throw back band, not one that has preformed before. Last years headliners were solid, but any 1 year later repeats would be a bit of a let down. Founders does seem to be tied with Passion Pit though.

They just posted on their facebook that they are giving away tickets soon.. I'm guessing it has something to do with that.
